Hosting and server log files

This website is operated on servers within the European Union. When you visit, the server automatically collects access data (IP address, timestamp, page requested, amount of data transferred, browser type). This data is required for secure operation; the legal basis is Art. 6(1) (f) GDPR. It is deleted after 14 days at the latest.

Contact and enquiry forms

If you write to us using a form, we process the data you provide in order to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR. We keep the enquiry for as long as it is needed to handle it, and delete it afterwards unless a statutory retention period applies.

To protect against automated submissions, we log technical characteristics (IP address, timestamp, browser identifier) for submission attempts we block. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in preventing misuse, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Newsletter and downloads (double opt-in)

For downloads and the newsletter we use the double opt-in procedure: you first receive an email with a confirmation link. We only send you the content after you confirm. We store your consent together with the timestamp and wording so we can demonstrate it (Art. 5(2), Art. 7 GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future.

Consent management

We store your choice regarding cookies and similar technologies locally in your browser, so we do not have to ask you again on every visit. Before you consent, no non-essential services are loaded. You can change your decision at any time via the "Cookie settings" link.

Labelling of AI-generated content

Some images on this website were generated or edited using artificial intelligence. Where that is the case, it is noted directly at the image and in its caption or alt text. The legal basis for this labelling is Art. 50(4) of the EU AI Act.

Your rights

You have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21 GDPR).
