The area

Everything nearby, nothing in a hurry.

The west coast of Cyprus is quieter than the rest of the island. Here is what our guests like most, with the time it takes to get there.

  • Quiet sandy cove with turquoise water and pale limestone rocks

    The cove below the house

  • Small fishing harbour with colourful wooden boats in the evening light

    Fishing harbour

  • Table with meze plates, halloumi, olives, bread and tahini seen from above

    Meze in the village

  • Ancient stone columns and a Roman floor mosaic by the sea

    Archaeological park

  • Rocky coastal path with juniper bushes above white cliffs and turquoise sea

    Coastal trail

Three tips from the house

Swim early

Before nine the cove is yours alone, and the water is at its clearest.

Eat where the boats are

The harbour taverna serves what came in that morning. Ask for the catch of the day.

Walk the coast at five

The heat is gone, the light turns gold and the trail is empty.
